RRR Movie Ram Charan To Jr NTR, rrr release date
Featuring a stellar cast including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, the SS Rajamouli directorial was slated to release on January 7, 2022.
Ending the suspense, the team of ‘RRR’, one of the most talked-about projects, has announced the official release date. This high-action period drama has joined the 2022 Sankranthi race and will release on January 7th 2022.
This is the fourth release date announced by the team ‘RRR’ and this time they are firm on the release. Before finalising the date, director Rajamouli and his team brainstormed a lot and considered multiple dates. Finally, they opted for January 7th.
Taking to Twitter, the makers issued their official statement for the postponement, which read, "Inspite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theatres, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on to your excitement. We promised to bring back The Glory of Indian Cinema, and at the right time, WE WILL."
Further, they thanked all the fans for their love and support.
Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming period film features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in lead roles. The release date was announced with a special poster featuring the four actors. The post-production work of the big-budget film is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and is expected to be wrapped up soon.
'RRR' was originally planned as a July 30, 2020 release. However, the unforeseen delays, including those caused by injuries suffered by Jr NTR and Ram during production, forced the makers to push the release date.
The makers then pushed the release date to October 13, 2021, but due to the theatres not being fully functional, the makers postponed that date too.
